Zhongchen Light Industry's NCB Beverage Production Line Continues to Innovate and Achieve Rich Results

NCB non-carbonated beverages such as fruit juice, tea drinks, and milk drinks are increasingly popular among consumers due to their natural nutrition, fresh taste, and growing demand for NCB non-carbonated bottled and canned beverages has been growing rapidly in both domestic and international markets in recent years. Seizing this opportunity, Hefei Zhongchen Light Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. has invested heavily in research and development of NCB non-carbonated beverage bottling and canning equipment, conducting in-depth customer communication and innovation in technology and processes to win the widespread favor of domestic and foreign customers, especially in 2010 and early 2011, when it successfully partnered with well-known international brands such as Pepsi, GLG Group of the United States, and LOTTE of Korea to elevate Zhongchen Light Machinery's NCB non-carbonated beverage production lines to a new height.

PepsiCo is one of the most successful consumer goods companies in the world. Like all successful businesses, PepsiCo's success is due to its forward-thinking leadership, its business strategy, strict management, and a constant stream of innovative products that meet market needs. After successfully providing dozens of 36000BPH high-speed PET bottle and glass bottle carbonated beverage filling and packaging production lines for International PepsiCo, Zhongchen Light Machinery successfully provided a 30000BPH glass bottle non-carbonated beverage production line and a 20000BPH PET bottle non-carbonated beverage production line for International PepsiCo in 2010. Both production lines use mature hot filling technology and incorporate the latest process requirements of the customer. The filling combination machines designed and manufactured by Zhongchen Light Machinery are equipped with a filling material central tank, and the filling valves are connected to the central tank via stainless steel hard pipes. At the same time, the filling valves are equipped with a complete material return system, which can achieve material return even without bottles during filling. Therefore, the valve head temperature is effectively maintained, preventing product defects caused by a possible drop in valve head temperature during a mid-machine stop. Due to the very fine bottle neck diameter of International PepsiCo's 240ml glass bottles, there is a risk of valve head impact and glass chips during filling. Zhongchen Light Machinery therefore customized a suitable solution to solve this problem that had long troubled the customer. The filling process requires minimal backflow, but the CIP process requires a larger CIP flow. Zhongchen Light Machinery fully meets the relevant requirements in the control design of the backflow system and innovatively designs the CIP cleaning process flow, greatly shortening the cleaning time of the entire filling system. The flipping sterilization machine on the production line uses the latest process requirements, with two flipping sterilization machines operating in series to achieve the long-time flipping sterilization required by the industry. The entire production line is also suitable for the filling and packaging needs of future beverages with fruit pulp (SAC), which has been well verified by the Algerian customer who placed an order at the same time.

The GLG Group is a high-tech multinational company based in the United States, which primarily invests in high-tech agriculture and life sciences. In 2010, Zhongchen Light Machinery Co., Ltd. successfully signed a contract with the GLG Group for the turnkey project of a PET non-carbonated beverage production line with a capacity of 15,000 bottles per hour. The project was put into operation and passed inspection the same year. The project consists of nine major systems, including water treatment, sugar dissolution and flavor adjustment, filling and packaging, etc. The mechanical design, process formulation, material selection, and electrical component configuration of the equipment used in the project all adopt international advanced levels, with significant energy-saving and environmental protection effects.

Product innovation is the driving force for sustainable corporate development, and it is also the theme for both Zhongchen Light Machinery Co., Ltd. and its customers. In 2010, Zhongchen Light Machinery Co., Ltd. signed a contract with the well-known Korean enterprise LOTTE for a PET non-carbonated milk beverage ultra-clean filling production line, which opened up a perfect combination of rich nutrition and carbonated taste for non-carbonated drinks. The non-carbonated milk beverage product is a new type of carbonated milk beverage, as the milk beverage is highly sensitive to microorganisms, so the entire production line has strict hygiene standards. To meet the corresponding process requirements, Zhongchen Light Machinery Co., Ltd. has applied a number of technical measures to ensure that the product fully meets the customer's requirements, and it has hired foreign experts in aseptic filling technology to provide full-process consulting during the research and manufacturing process, which has effectively promoted the development and improvement of Zhongchen Light Machinery Co., Ltd.'s aseptic filling technology.

1.Transfer and sterilization of filling bottles: The empty bottles are conveyed by air force with high-efficiency filters to ensure the hygiene and prevent secondary pollution during the conveying process; multiple sterilization systems are configured before filling to ensure that the bottles are in a highly clean state.

2. Sterilization and conveyance of caps: The caps are sterilized by soaking them in disinfectant solution, then dried by sterile water and sterile air. After the caps are treated, they are conveyed through a closed sterile channel to the capping machine, keeping them in a highly clean state.

3. Sterilization and conveyance of the filling material: The filling material is sterilized by ultra-high temperature in a flash and then enters the mixer for low-temperature carbonation before being conveyed to the filling machine for filling. The conveying pipes are polished to a mirror finish, the pipe joints are of sterile type, and hygienic valves and instruments are selected. The design and construction are avoided to create dead ends in the pipelines to ensure the sterility of the material during transportation.

4. Isolation, purification, and maintenance of filling environment: The filling system is fully enclosed, with an upper and lower water ring seal to reliably separate the filling area from the outside; an optimized FFU configuration is used, and a suction system is installed at the air intake; the bottle washing area and filling area are separated by a partition to ensure that the filling room has a purification level of 100; after filling, the exhaust is collected and discharged through a pipe out of the purification room to ensure that the filling process is carried out in a sterile environment; the clean room uses two sets of spray ball and nozzle spraying systems for disinfection liquid and sterile water alternately spraying; the workbench board adopts a roof-type board without water accumulation to ensure the sterility of the filling environment.
