China's first natural zero-calorie beverage production line has gone into operation in Xiaogang Village.

On December 17th, at 10:58 am in the winter of the year, a square in front of the "Big Contracting" Memorial Hall in Xiaogang Village, Fengyang County, Anhui Province, China, was filled with colorful balloons, singing, and the sound of drums and music, creating a lively atmosphere. The first natural zero-calorie beverage production line in China, provided by Hefei Zhongchen Light Machinery Company and invested in by the American GLG Group, was officially put into operation in Xiaogang Village, the "first reform village in China," marking the entry of the world's largest stevia sugar industry company, the American GLG Group, into a new stage of strategic cooperation with China. Leaders from the provincial and municipal governments, including Zhao Shuzhong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee and vice governor of Anhui Province, attended the launch ceremony and declared the production line officially operational, before cutting the ribbon for the first production line in a grand ceremony. Xia Yaowu, Executive Vice President Dai Zeyu, Technical Director Zheng Changfa, and Sales Director Yu Jin, as well as journalists from various media outlets, attended the inauguration ceremony and participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
